Jilyn Bosch and Andrew Meyer Wed

On August 19, 2009 Andrew Meyer and Jilyn Bosch were wedded in the Sacramento California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over 30 friends and family were in attendance to witness the ceremony. Later that evening a reception was held in their honor in Georgetown, Ca. (Jilyn's hometown) where over 140 guests gave their well-wishes to the newlyweds. The first night of their honeymoon was spent at the newly remodeled Rock Creek Inn in Georgetown. An open house will be held in their honor on Saturday, August 22, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon at the home of Walt and Nancy Meyer, Andrew's parents. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

2009 Wise Cousins Reunion a Success

This year's Wise Cousins Reunion was a rousing success. Cousins from all over the western United States gathered in Canyonville, Oregon on July 25th at Stanton Park. We would like to thank all those who made this reunion possible. One of the highlights at the reuion was the Quilted Family Tree banner that helped us identify from which line we descended. Thanks again for all those who attended (approximately 65).

Jilyn Bosch and Andrew Meyer Announce Engagement

Our daughter, Jilyn Bosch and Andrew Meyer have announced their engagement. They plan to be married in the Sacramento Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. They are both currently living in Salem, Oregon but they are planning on attending LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah after their wedding to study business courses. Congratulations on their engagement.

New Wise Pictures

Delcia and Allan have been working on a banner of the Wise Cousin's Reunion in Canyonville, Oregon next July and found several new pictures (new to us). The first picture is Ulysess Eldorius Wise (my dad's grandfather) and his dog. The second is Linnis Edwards, my dad's first cousin.

Family History Trip to Utah

We recently (3/6/09-3/15/09) took a trip to Utah. While there we saw the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform during their Sunday morning broadcast. We visited a lot of friends and family and went to the Salt Lake Temple and visitors center and the Family History Library. Al attended a Computerized Family History conference at BYU in Provo.
